Using up your scraps...

Hi everyone.

It is my final post at Scrap with V and I though I would share with you one of my favourite things to do after I have made a LO with my kit....make cards.

My last kit from SWV had the beautiful My Mind's Eye paper and when I had finished I only had a few small strips left and some brown cardstock. But these are perfect scraps to starting making some cards with.
I went through my stash and found some script paper (this is a digital paper that I print out on a regular basis...I love to use it on my cards), some buttons and twine, some cream sating ribbon and lace, a paper doily and a little peg (both found a most bargain stores).

So firstly I pleated my strips of patterned paper...

I then used my Spellbinder dies and cuttlebug to cut out some frames from the brown cardstock.
Then I assembled the cards and printed out the sentiment...too easy.

I hope this inspires you to stretch your SWV kits in the future.
