Welcome to the First Ever Scrap with V New Beginnings Blog Hop

Happy New Year and welcome to the First Scrap With V Blog Hop.

Our Designers have come together to celebrate New Beginnings! With a New Year comes New Year Resolutions, but thats not the only new beginnings in our lives, we can have new babies, new love, new dreams.....

We hope that you will join in this fun filled event!

The Blog Hop will be running all week,

ending on Saturday Night 15^th January

when winners from the individual draws will be announced!

What this means is that you will have until 15th January to leave comments at all the

Designers Blogs and make sure that you become a follower.

We will be starting our Blog Hop here at Scrap With V.

During this fun Blog Hop our Designers will showcase projects that they have made based on the theme of New Beginnings.

To add to the fun, we will be doing random draws through out the Blog Hop from a few different Designers Blog.

The Designers will announce on their blog if they themselves have a random RAK draw,

But there will also be 3 random draws from Comments for

a $10 Gift Voucher to spend at

It wont be announced which blogs though, so you will have to make sure you stop by all the Designers Blogs and leave a comment and become a follower in order to go into the Draw!

You will have until 15^th January to leave your comments, so thats plenty of time!

Now for a little extra fun! There will also be another draw for people who complete a layout, put it up on their blog and then leave a comment in this post with a link to your blog. Easy!!

So realistically you have the chance to win $50 worth of vouchers if your really lucky!!

PRODUCT REVIEW

Hi everyone ,
This months product review is prima and green tara , both companies have some amazing eye candy but this month i have focused on one product from each of them and whipped up a layout showing how you can make your page become more exciting .
I have used green tara silver sprays they are so delicate and pretty and make your page pop when you team them with some delightful little prima flowers . Arranging them in a corner just to adorn your photo will make your layout more interesting .

Flower Tutorial

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and lets hope 2011 is the best year ever !!!
This is a very quick easy flower to make.
You need a Chiffon type material, Cut 7 circles
5 circles... 6cm diameter
2 circles... 4cm diameter.


Now join the 7 circles with the 2 smaller circle at the top.
Using a brad...stitches...or stamens at the centre to hold the circles together.


Using a candle very carefully singe and shape the petals.


Your finished flowers should look like this.
You can use more circles and make them any size...





VOILA !!!! hope you enjoy.
